Coachella Pre-Party at the MiraMonte Resort in the Desert (Check Out the rest of my coverage in Hollywood Glam Magazine!)

Coachella is kicking off and celebrities and fashionistas are all heading to the desert for the music filled weekend! This year many celebs and influencers are starting the celebrations off early with pre-parties at the most fashionable desert getaways. I attended the GBK gifting lounge at the Miramonte hotel and resort on Thursday night. The event was held outdoors and featured live music as well as several fun new brands to discover. There was everything from beauty brands to fashion lines and even jewelry designers.
I had so much fun checking out all the cool and trendy items and even got a custom necklace designed by Kate Mesta jewelry! Later on Lance Bass actually stopped by the same booth and go a custom necklace made for Ariana Grande with lyrics on it before their performance at the festival!
I had so much fun showing off my festival makeup in these amazing Glammy Vanities and even got to take a mini mirror home complete with backlighting! The party was the perfect way to get into action mode and Hint waters kept everyone hydrated with their fruit infused sparkling water. It was the ultimate VIP experience!
Finally I discovered this great new brand, Old Gringo Boots which was very popular among celebrity guests was well. They were offering the perfect statement boot to complete any festival look! I am so excited to see more from this brand at Stagecoach festival which I will also be attending! Their craftsmanship and fun designs make them the perfect accessory for creating the perfect country look with a stylish flair! Check out more of my Stagecoach style coverage here and keep checking back for all the latest festival season trends!

From Dusk till Dawn: Romeo and Juliet Couture Coachella Afterparty

On Saturday night, after a historical performance from Beyonce at Coachella music festival music and fashion lovers kept the good vibes going at an exclusive after party in the desert hosted by Romeo and Juliet Couture. I headed out to the party to check out the celebrity DJs, fun party vibes, and festival fashions. The party kicked off with music by DJs Kyroman and EC Twins and as guests arrived they enjoyed exploring the eclectic outdoor venue. First, I grabbed some food from the delicious cafe serving tasty protein bowls.
Then I headed over to the Style artist lounge for photo ops. A Prince tribute poster hung on the wall as a reminder of the famous singer's Coachella appearances over the years. I, of course had to take my picture with it since Prince was one of my favorite artists before he passed in 2016. #legendsneverdie

The crew for TV star Paul Fisher's show "I Can Make You A Model" was filming their 72 hour Coachella challenge special edition. The contest was held in conjunction with Romeo and Juliet Couture and the winning model will receive the chance to be the new face of the brand. Fashionable festival goers snapped selfies of their best looks all night hoping to win the I am Juliet challenge.

There were plenty of amazing looks and no shortage of fun photo ops at the event. Check out my look for the night below!

I wore this Free People sequin dress and ended up blending in with these pink flamingos! I love the bright pink sparkles and the fact that this dress has yellow sparkles that you can reveal for a fun edgy look too! I paired it with these fun fringe heels and my Kate Spade clutch. I finished off the look with this festival themed jewelry from Kollectin. The necklace has crystal charms, an arrow, and several layers that went perfectly with my look.

Coachella Pre-Party at Beach and Beverly in Hermosa Beach

Today I headed over to Beach and Beverly boutique in Hermosa Beach for their Festival Weekend Kickoff party. The cute little boutique opened on Pier Avenue 2 years ago and stocks local designers from LA as well as a few Australian designers to create a look that matches the store’s name marrying trendy Beverly Hills Fashion and relaxed California beach style. The store celebrated the arrival of Coachella with the latest trend in festival style, a braid bar they presented in partnership with the neighboring salon Jessica Rose. The braid bar is the newest installment that trend savvy retailers have been utilizing this season as elaborate braids have become a favorite among beauty bloggers and fashionistas this spring. You can’t have a Coachella party without flower crowns and Beach and Beverly didn’t disappoint with a table full of flowers and greenery to adorn braids with. I grabbed some delicious Belgian Waffles from my favorite French cafe afterwards and showed off my new look.

Festival season is another addition to the multi-season retail calendar right in between spring and cruise collections. Coachella has become a nationwide event and for those who can’t make the trip to Palm Springs festival themed parties and experiences in their hometown have become standalone events in some places. Even anti-Coachella themed parties called “no-chella” have become popular events on college campuses on the big weekend. As the festival, itself moves away from trendy “festival fashion” branding and into experiential marketing with new haute cuisine initiatives a subculture of hometown “festival fashion” celebrations is taking hold in many places providing opportunities for retailers to showcase specialty lines and draw customers to the store with new experiences and promotions.
