On Sunday night Stormrider: Legend of Hammerhead premiered in Beverly Hills with a star studded crowd in attendance. I covered the red carpet and watched the film. After having the chance to speak with producers and actors in the film, I got to sit down and watch it on the big screen in the ornate Saban theater. The Sci-Fi film, featuring a dystopian world where people were forced to seek refuge on an archipelago of islands brought a fresh take to the post-apocalyptic genre with water scenes, underwater special effects, and more departing from the traditional desert or cityscape settings of the genre. The film also featured a captivating plot, with many twists and turns to keep the audience guessing until the very end. I definitely recommend this film to any Sci-Fi fans who are looking for something different.
