About The Jonathan Foundation

Founded in 2001 by Raja Marhaba after her sons Jonathan and Omar were diagnosed with ADHD and learning disabilities, The Jonathan Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting families of children with special needs to vital resources. The organization provides advocacy, education, assessments, and professional referrals while fostering collaboration between families and school districts. Proceeds from the Spring Fundraiser directly support the foundation’s student assessment program.

Today, both Jonathan and Omar Marhaba sit on the Board and remain actively involved, using their personal experiences to connect meaningfully with children and families on the same journey.
