BTS at the Shyra Sanchez Music Video

Lights flashing. Bass thumping. Bodies moving in perfect sync. On May 15, 2026, Shyra Sanchez transformed a Malibu escape into a full-blown club paradise for the official music video of her upcoming single “Dance With Me”, set for release on June 5

The multi-talented Billboard-charting artist, dancer, and fitness entrepreneur brought her signature high-voltage style to the set, channeling the song’s core message of escape, freedom, and pure movement. Following the massive success of her debut single “Operator” (which has surpassed 2.7 million video views and dominated independent airplay charts), “Dance With Me” dives even deeper into club and EDM territory while still retaining her signature Lo-Fi beats style.

Inside the Shoot: Energy, Sweat, and Pure Joy

From the moment cameras started rolling, the atmosphere was electric. Dancers filled the space with sharp, infectious choreography that perfectly matched the track’s pulsing beat. Shyra, glowing under the lights in a series of show-stopping looks—from custom designed sparkling outfits to sleek, movement-ready looks—commanded every frame with confidence and charisma

I was there to capture BTS raw, unfiltered moments: Shyra laughing between takes while catching her breath, dancers hyping each other up, and the director fine-tuning lighting setups to create that immersive, late-night club feel. The production leaned heavily into vibrant visuals—neon accents, dynamic camera work, and sequences designed to make viewers feel like they’re in an escape.

On set Shyra took me into the process for creating the song and what she wanted fans to get out of it saying, "It's all about wanting to get on the dance floor and we're all in a timeright now that we need some happiness. Dance is a universal language. When you dance your mind takes you to a place where it takes all your troubles away. I want the world to dance!"

Watch my exclusive BTS footage of the music video shoot here and see the full video when it's released on June 5!

In describing the message for this release Sanchez states: "There's something about dancing that shifts everything, it pulls you out of whatever stress, pressure, or noise you're carrying and drops you into a completely different space. When the music hits and your body starts moving, it's like the world fades out for a moment. The worries don't disappear forever, but they loosen their grip.”

“That feeling, that escape, is what inspired the song. It's about letting go, even if it's just for a few minutes, and allowing yourself to feel free. When you dance, you're not overthinking, you're not stuck in your head, you're just present and feeling the music and feeling the beat. You're in your body, in the rhythm, in the moment. 'Dance With Me' is really an invitation. It's saying: come step into this world with me, don't need love, lose control, leave everything behind, and just feel good. No pressure, no expectations, just movement, connection, and freedom."

The team behind the lens included top-tier collaborators, continuing the creative momentum from the “Operator” video (directed and choreographed by the legendary Travis Payne). Expect the same level of polish, empowerment, and visual spectacle that helped “Operator” rack up millions of views.

A Natural Extension of Shyra’s World

The “Dance With Me” video shoot perfectly reflects Shyra Sanchez’s multifaceted career. Raised in Northern California in a music-filled multicultural home, she began as a dancer before expanding into songwriting, producing, fitness entrepreneurship, and motivational speaking. Her work consistently champions self-expression, mental health awareness, and empowerment—especially for young women.

With nearly 180,000 Instagram followers, strong radio traction, and recent standout performances (including Shift Miami with Dave Audé and a sold-out Houston show), Shyra is riding a powerful wave. The new video is expected to drop shortly after the single’s June 5 release, just in time to fuel summer club nights, Pride celebrations, and her upcoming Dance With Me Tour.

Fans got a few exclusive sneak peeks via Shyra’s socials, building major anticipation. The energy on set was undeniable—sweat, smiles, and that unstoppable drive to create something that moves people both literally and emotionally.

Celebrities Attend the Ecovvear Fashion Show in Malibu

On Saturday celebrities and influencers came out to Malibu to support the Ecovvear fashion show held at the historic Marwan estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The exciting event was hosted by the International Justice Alliance and featured speakers and celebrities who spoke out about important social issues. Actress and influencer Dara Renee hosted the fashion show and spoke about the importance of using fashion to make a statement. The show featured designs from India, and a special collection called the "Walk for Freedom" in support of reforms for wrongful convictions which was a featured topic at the event. The show held poolside at the beautiful Marwan estate was a hit with the crowd and featured a variety of looks that were all ethically designed and conscious of the environment. I spoke to some of the celebrities in attendance on the red carpet about the importance of sustainable fashion including Caitlin O'Connor, Dara Renee, Paris Bravo, Addison Brian, and more! Check out the video below to see their red carpet looks featuring vintage fashion!

Shiseido Hosts Malibu Beach CleanUp with Celebrities Katharine McPhee and Adrien Grenier

This Friday July 23rd Shiseido kicked off the weekend with a great event giving us a fun way to give back! I attended the Shiseido Blue Project Malibu beach clean up where local influencers and celebs showed up to help spread awareness about keeping our oceans clean. The project was organized with Shiseido Blue grantee, Wild Coast, a non profit that is helping to clean up our beaches and oceans as well as spread awareness about the importance of caring for our Ocean and coastal environments.

We started the morning off with some snacks and juices provided by Shiseido all in reusable containers. And of course we couldn't forget sun care! Shiseido provided their signature sunscreen and roll on sun gel for guests who came to the event.

Wild Coast provided clean up gear as well as taught us how to catalog the trash we found for reporting and analyzing. We all got ready to go and then headed across the beach to begin our clean up. Celebrity guest Adrien Grenier, star of Entourage, got right to work and shared how important this cause was for him.

Katharine McPhee Foster, the singer and actress known for her role in the TV show Scorpion, took time out of her busy schedule as a new mom to attend the event as well. Both stars dug right in collecting tons of trash with the group.

I spoke with Ann Wycoff, the director of development for the Wild Coast project and she shared with me some of the shocking facts about the trash in our oceans. Over 1.8trillion pieces of plastic can be found in the pacific garbage patch located between CA and Hawaii. By cleaning up trash along the coast of Mexico and California WildCoast is helping to prevent more plastic from ending up in the already giant garbage patch in our ocean.

The event shed light on the very important work that needs to be done to preserve our Oceans and coastal environments. Many times when talking about preserving the environment the Ocean is left off or forgotten about but thankfully organizations like WildCoast and the Shiseido Blue project are continuing the efforts to clean up the beach and bring awareness to this important cause!

How to Host the Ultimate Summer House Party With Celebrity Chef Shirley Chung x Shiseido

I got the chance to attend an amazing launch party to celebrate the brand new WASO line of Shiseido products this past weekend at the Shiseido Malibu Beach House. You can read more about the line of super food inspired skincare products in my post here. The party was hosted by Top Chef finalist Shirley Chung who taught us how to make some amazing dishes that are perfect for entertaining and are all made from superfoods with added health benefits as well! This party was amazing and I had such a great time tasting the recipes as well as enjoying the house and mingling with other bloggers! If you are looking for ideas on the perfect start of summer soiree keep reading below to hear about some of my favorite tips and tricks from celebrity Chef Shirley Chung and ideas I picked up for hosting a great party at the event!
First Chef Shirley showed us how to create what she calls the perfect "House Party Plate" which is a delicious combo of cooked veggies drizzled with a tofu based aioli for a fresh and easy meal that guests will love. I have posted the recipe below so you guys can try out this awesome party plate!

Step 1. Chef Shirley's House Party Plate

Step 2. Have your food on the stove before guests arrive

According to Chef Shirley when preparing fresh ingredients like these it's best to have everything warming on the stove and close to being ready but you shouldn't worry about having the meal all set out on the table yet. If you prepare it too early it could get cold by the time guests arrive. I loved this tip because I never know when the right time is to serve food at my parties!

Step 3. Prepare centerpieces using some of the ingredients from your dish

I love this idea for a summer gathering! When we walked in the table was set with beautiful bouquets of carrots and some flowers scattered across the table as well as a bowl of lemons. It was a beautiful centerpiece and got me curious about what we would be eating! This is a great tip if you are looking to change up your same old party decor and break free from the flowers and vase idea! This felt very Goop approved to me.

Step 4. Summer Cocktails

Jen J Photography

I loved the different tonics and summer cocktail options that were served. They had the perfect light and refreshing flavors that made this day feel like summer and weren't too overbearing when paired with the food. There were alcoholic and nonalcoholic options for guests which is another great tip to remeber when planning your party!

Step 5. Get everyone mingling!

Chef Shirley got everyone up out of their seats by inviting us to "come garden with her" when preparing our salad plates. I loved this idea because it really broke everyone out of their groups and got us all talking! Plus we could each pick what we liked for our salads. I decided to head outside to the patio afterwards to enjoy mine with the amazing ocean view and even met some new people!

So there you have it! This is your guide to throwing the ultimate summer house party with vegetarian friendly meals and a simple and fun recipe! This guide will hopefully allow you as the host to enjoy your party as much as your guests! Plus, don't forget to look your best for the big event with the brand new WASO skincare line by Shiseido! Add a little glow to your look the morning of with the daily moisturizer which is one of my favorite products from the line!

Catt Sadler Launches Her New Podcast "Naked" in Style

On Sunday I headed out to the Shiseido Malibu Beach house for the ultimate blogger brunch hosted by the amazing Catt Sadler.

She welcomed me and a select group of other bloggers to the intimate brunch celebrating the launch of what she calls her "next chapter". Watch my interview with Catt below to hear her describe Naked in her own words! She also told me about her sparkly look for the event and we had the same thoughts on wearing a jacket for the event since it seemed like kind of a grey day in Malibu. The sun did come out for us in the afternoon though and I got some great pictures of the amazing views for you guys!

The podcast has a unique twist to it and at the brunch Catt explained to us where the name "Naked" came from. Her idea is to have each of her guests take off a piece of what she calls "armor". Armor can be anything from red lipstick to a bra and according to Catt one of her guests decided to take the opportunity to go braless!
She said she wants to have her guests be, "raw and revealing and exposing their truths and sharing their struggles and triumphs.
She hopes the audience, "can feel a little less alone in a world in which we all walk around with this armor all the time. I think it’s important to continue having conversations where people feel empowered or have a take away or where you feel inspired to be your best self.”
Her idea really stands out in the world of lifestyle media and episode 0 went live as we all toasted to the occasion.
I got to sit down with Catt and asked her more about her idea for Naked and how she feels about the current media landscape.
She told me that she was inspired to create Naked hoping to offer something different to her listeners and be more authentic.
Catt said, "It's really tricky because all the platforms kind of have a different tone or a different realm in which they operate. I feel like we're moving towards a shift right now where people look at Instagram and they know ok, this is polished or this is photo shopped or this is your highlight reel and I think everyone is privy to it at this point and I think it's gonna swing the other way where people just want more organic realness. You know, that is real life. There is a place for everything obviously, it's beautiful so many beautiful images on Instagram so much art so much inspiration I love it. But, it's doing a disservice to people, especially young girls who look at it and think that their mentors or icons, the people they look up to look a certain way because that's just not reality."
The former E! News anchor who now has her own brand complete with a site called the Cattwalk.com and her new podcast shared so many inspiring quotes throughout the day. She was truly excited for her next big adventure and was full of energy all afternoon.
She teased episode one of the podcast which is coming out this week, and talked about what it was like interviewing her first guest Olivia Munn. I don't know about you guys but I can't wait to listen in to episode 1 and hear what it's like to get "naked" with Catt Sadler and Olivia Munn! The brunch was amazing and the views from the patio were even better! Plus meeting this super inspiring entrepreneur and seeing her in action was definitely a highlight of my weekend! Check out more pictures from the event below!

Celebrating the Start of Summer with Shiseido: My Fruit Filled Day in LA

You guys know that my blog is all about fruit and cherries were the inspiration for the blog name, so I can't wait to share my summer kickoff celebration filled with exotic fruit, amazing skincare, and even a private cooking class with celebrity chef Stephanie Chung.

Spoiler alert, she loves fresh fruit almost as much as me! I even discovered a new fruit during her class called a loquat. She shared this delicious sweet fruit with us which she uses in several of her recipes. We even took this picture together with some of the ingredients, lemons to match my dress!

I started off my day heading to the Shiseido Malibu beach house where a select group of bloggers and celebrities were invited to come celebrate the launch of the Shiseido WASO skincare line.

We were treated to an amazing master cooking class with Top Chef finalist Stephanie Chung using the same ingredients found in the Shiseido WASO skincare line! The line features several superfood ingredients which are good for your skin and your health! We learned how to double it up on these superfoods so we can eat them and use them on our skin for the ultimate glow!

Stephanie shared her favorite easy recipes made for entertaining with us starting with a delicious Tofu aioli and glazed carrots.

We got to taste the amazing recipe while enjoying the waves crashing right below us. We took in the stunning views from the patio while enjoying our lunch and then headed back inside for more cooking!

I got to help Stephanie prepare carrots for the next meal and she gave tips for the best way to shave carrots creating pretty spirals for garnish.

We also used Yuzu, which is found in the hydrating sleep mask of the skincare line as well for our next dish. Stephanie invited us to come "garden with her" and create our own custom salads.

After enjoying more delicious food I headed upstairs to take in these amazing views from the second floor while testing out the latest Shiseido products.

We got the full WASO line to take home with us and I have already started using the moisturizer. I can already see a difference and can't wait to try out the rest of the products! Don't forget to check back on the blog soon for more about the cooking class! I will even be sharing one of the recipes we made!

After spending the morning enjoying the amazing fresh recipes from Chef Chung I headed over to Melrose where I continued my fruit themed adventure celebrating the grand opening of the World of Fruit installation in Beverly Hills.

The art gallery is an immersive fruit themed experience with 8 rooms full of colorful interactive exhibits. There are even special tastings offered throughout the museum where guests can taste superfruits from exotic locales around the world. There are fruits that have come from Africa, South America, and many other places! Check out all the fun below!

Camping in Malibu

Camping in Malibu is one of my favorite fall activities. Fall is the best time to enjoy a quiet campground and warm weather.  In summer it is too hot and in winter it is cold and foggy. My favorite beach camping spot is Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu. You can reserve a spot at www.reserveamerica.com. I love this spot situated among the canyons of Malibu and right next to the water. The campground beach is a beautiful cove with sand caves and sparkling blue waters. The tide pools are fun to explore as well. Sometimes you might see a colorful starfish or exotic sea anemone. Watch out for the little crabs though! The water is beautiful, if a little chilly, but it is worth a swim!
Swimming makes you hungry, so after a few hours playing in the waves, its time to head back to the campground for hot dogs roasted over the campfire and of course the obligatory smores.
The last night before I have to leave, I enjoy eating at nearby Neptune's Net, a short drive up the coast on PCH.  It looks a little like a beach shack, but don't let the appearance deceive you.  They serve delicious seafood and it is a favorite of many Hollywood stars.  I love sitting on the patio overlooking the Malibu sunset and surfers.  I recommend the fried scallops.
This camping spot is also conveniently located near one of the best premium outlets in Southern California (did you really think I could stay away from shopping for a whole week?). Just thirty minutes north in Camarillo, the outlets have all the best stores including DKNY, Off Fifth, Tory Birch, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, and many more. Don't forget to stop at Aroyo Mexican Restaurant for a delicious lunch. I order fresh taquitos and chips and salsa.
If its too cold to go to the  beach, there are hiking trails throughout the area where you can learn about the indigenous plants of the Santa Monica mountains and enjoy great hilltop views of the ocean.
If you are looking to escape constant emails and texts, Leo Carrillo is a great place to relax and unwind; there is no cell service in the canyon.
Next time you are looking for relaxing fall getaway, try a camping trip to the beach.  You won't regret it!

Have you ever camped at the beach?  What was your experience?  Let me know in the comments below.
