I spoke to the cast members, stars from the Bay who came to support the film, and LA creatives from all industries including fashion, film, directing, and more! But the one thing that brought everyone together for this red carpet event was finding inspiration in Edgar Allen Poe and his famous classic poem "The Raven". From feathered dresses to dramatic trains, red carpet stars showed up in style while paying homage to the drama and flair of Poe's famous work.

Hollywood Holiday Style: Stars Celebrate Supermodel Unlimited Magazine Cover Party
The event featured music, gift bags with model approved makeup and beauty products, Simply Pop sodas, and more. The event had a curated selection of LA’s top culinary favorites -including Pink’s, Hot Dogs, Leo’s Taco Truck, and Master Teppanyaki Chef Jazzi - plus rising DJ Collab and immersive brand activations from MyMochi, Simply Pop, Vitamin Water, and The Vice Wine. I tried the Pickle Ball wine flavor by Vice wines for a fun twist on classic flavors.
The event was held at the Hollywood Vatican a creative sanctuary for the art of tattooing, co-owned by legends Freddy Negrete and Franco Vescovi. The catering by Chef Jazzi was amazing and guests enjoyed fun ice cream mochi treats as well. Carmen Electra received a bouquet of roses for her cover and posed with Miss Universe winner as well. I spoke to some of the stars about their fashion.

Line in the Sand Premieres in Newport Beach CA
James O’Keefe’s first feature film produced with Tucker Carlson productions and entitled “Line in the Sand” details the corruption and helplessness that has spread throughout the border patrol system in the US. I attended the premiere in Newport Beach CA last week where I spoke to a variety of celebrities and members of the conservative movement about the border issue. One consensus was clear, information about how bad the border crisis has really gotten was suppressed or non-existent. Many people were drawn to the film for its real life footage and O’Keefe’s hidden camera interviews because they simply felt at a loss to find reliable facts about the border crisis anywhere else.
I also spoke to several women who attended the event, about
the increased safety concerns women across the country are facing due to the
open border and the thousands of undocumented criminals the Bide-Harris administration
has lost track of in the US. Women and children are the main victims in many
cases of these disastrous border policies and the film pointed out the
inhumanity of allowing the open border to continue. Women in America who have
been victims of horrendous crimes as well as women on the other side of the
border who are taken advantage of by traffickers and cartels are both powerful
examples of the true consequences of the open border.
The film received rave reviews from the audience, and the
expose on the corrupt NGO’s who profit off of this border crisis seemed to
resonate the most with the people I spoke to after watching. The film also
covered the heartbreaking story of the 325,000 undocumented children who have
come across the border and have since been lost by the US Government.
HHS Whistleblower Tara Rodas stated, “This isn’t anything
new it’s just something that’s not talked about…The most recent DHS report and
this is from the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) Office of Inspector
General that 320,00 kids they’re not able to know where they are. This is
unacceptable. How is that possible that a multi-billion-dollar government
program has lost children? This is a failure of policy. We need to fix this
problem…We need a strong executive who is going to stand up and be a voice for
the voiceless.”
This film highlights not only the border crisis that is tearing
so many communities across the US apart but, also the suppression this story
has received from mainstream media. The film demonstrates how corruption,
crime, and harmful policies are evident in every part of the border patrol
process yet, we have been told by the Biden admin and the media time and time
again that what we as Americans are experiencing is not real.
Dan Ball of OANN summed up the frustration people feel when
they try to search for facts about the border crisis saying, “Let’s be real,
the Biden Harris regime created this epidemic at the border. Period…When you’re
saying I can’t get straight information, I’m online googling I don’t
see-somebody says 8 million have come in, somebody said 15 million, Trump said
20 million.”
Real Housewife of Orange Country star Taylor Armstrong said,
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the behind the scenes of what’s going on
because all the media is so confusing and not really knowing what to believe
especially leading into the election everything is so hyped I’m not sure what’s
real and which direction to look in to get the facts and so I know that he
(James O’Keefe) is going to provide that for us and I’m excited about that.”
Conservative influencer Xaviaer DuRousseau told me, “I don’t
think enough people understand how out of control the border crisis is
getting…Anything that is highlighting this I am so in favor of because we know
mainstream media is not going to do it. Mainstream media is protecting these
people.”
This film premier gave me the chance to see how widespread
the hunger for true facts and information is across America. Our fake news
problem in America spans race, class, and political divides. One thing
Americans can agree on is that we need more facts and on the ground reporting.
Journalists who are willing to take risks and put in the hard work in order to write
a real story rather than stay comfy 30 floors removed from the everyday
challenges American citizens are facing.
This powerful film is worth watching to inform yourself of the true nature and sinister motivations behind the open border crisis. You can also check out all my red carpet footage on Instagram and YT!

Red Carpet Style from the 2023 Critics Choice Awards

The 2023 Critics Choice Awards were held in Los Angeles on Sunday January 15th. As awards season gets underway in 2023 red carpet style is where celebs show off the latest trends. The Critics Choice Awards was no exception with a stunning lineup of looks from Viola Davis sequin Valentino dress to Amanda Seyfried's gold metallic Dior gown. It's no secret that sparkle is going to be a big trend in 2023 especially during awards season. However there is another trend I'm watching this year as well which is sustainable fashion. Sustainability will take center stage for the fashion world in 2023 as designers and consumers adapt to more eco-conscious clothing in big ways.
Markarian, a New York City based brand founded by designer Alexandra O'Neill in 2017 is working to create conscious clothing in a fashionable way. The brand is founded on a timeless and romantic design aesthetic and produces made to order garments in an effort to reduce waste. The floral gown worn by Melanie Zanetti this weekend was designed by O'Neill as part of the Autumn/Winter 2022 collection. The ruffle bodice added a feminine touch to the ivory and blue gown that popped on the red carpet. Other sustainable brands represented on the carpet included the Stella McCartney cutout dress worn by Sarah Hyland.
Next up for awards season red carpet style is the Grammys on February 5th. Stay tuned for more style coverage!

Green Carpet Fashion Awards

This awards season, sustainable style is starring on the red carpets in a big way. Climate awareness is a huge trend in 2023 as the fashion industry moves towards more sustainable production at all stages of the design process. Luxury brands are also starting to take more care with their sustainability practices and the annual Green Carpet Fashion Awards are celebrating progress with a special release.
The GCC hosts its annual Green Carpet Challenge each year during awards season highlighting celebrity style that is sustainable and raising awareness about the impact of the fashion industry on the environment. The challenge will culminate with the awards ceremony taking place this March in Los Angeles. However, this year there is another great initiative to look forward to from Eco-Age the organization behind the GCC.
“I’m so excited to publish the GCC Style Handbook,” said Livia Firth, Founder of the GCC. The guide distils the learnings, methods and inspiration that we have gathered over years of working with design superstars committed to making fashion fit for the future on a healthy planet with full respect for everyone in the supply chain. In an age where sustainability in fashion is often misunderstood as more units of production with a green gloss, this is about democratising a vision – that beautiful fashion comes with deep green principles. We look forward to celebrating changemakers that embrace the GCC ideals this Awards season.”
The style handbook which launched today, is the ultimate dressing guide for contemporary sustainable looks fit for the red carpet. The GCC Style Handbook has been divided into four key style pillars: Bespoke, Artisanal, Vintage and Re-wear. The guide highlights slow fashion – the regenerative, the reclaimed, and the recycled, and champions use of existing materials and craftsmanship throughout. This is important because as vintage style has taken off the sustainability aspect of rewearing has sometimes gotten lost. The guide will serve as a way to help guard against greenwashing as well as introduce the latest sustainable style innovations to Hollywood.
What will the sustainable style highlights of this awards season be? Let me know what you think in the comments!

Exclusive Interview: Fashion Icon Tayshia Adams Hosts MTV Unscripted Awards
Tayshia Adams has had a whirlwind past few years going from a graduate of Concordia University in Irvine to fan-favorite contestant on the Bachelor and now to major media personality and host for the 2nd annual MTV Unscripted Awards. The fashion icon and social media star has built a name for herself by breaking barriers in the reality TV genre as the first bi-racial host of the Bachelorette. But as a young girl growing up in Newport Beach she never dreamed her career would take her all the way to Hollywood. When we spoke to Adams on the red carpet before her big night she said, “I would’ve probably never predicted it but at the same time I feel like this is exactly where I need to be.”
As for what’s next Adams is enjoying her new home in New
York City for now and plans to run the NYC marathon again after successfully
completing the 2021 race while raising money for the World Vision charity last
November. Despite being hospitalized for a kidney infection after last year’s
event she is not giving up and planning to compete again in 2022. She said, “I
did run my first marathon last year and I’m definitely planning on running the
New York marathon this year.”
Adams told us about her new home in NYC and how she has
evolved since leaving her home in sunny Southern California. She said, “First
of all now that I live in New York my fashion sense has completely changed
first of all I’m wearing mostly black if that doesn’t tell you that I’m a New
York girl I don’t know what would. It’s really brought out my edge. I feel like
orange county is way more chill and laid back and like colorful.”
For Adams, being a host isn’t just about the fun and
excitement. She takes the role very seriously and worked to mentor Bachelorette
Katie while co-hosting season 17 last year. As the first bi-racial Bachelorette
host she also works to be a role model for women like herself.
She shared how she incorporates both of her cultures into
her style saying, “I feel like I wear what represents me and I’ll try anything.
I love color and with that Mexican culture has a lot of vibrance and that’s
always fun to bring into the mix.”
While this was only the second year for the Unscripted
Awards, there was still plenty of drama and excitement for fans and Adams had
her work cut out for her. The Bachelor Nation sensation is enjoying her new
home in NYC but was still happy to be back in her home state for the big night.
When it comes to the future there is no doubt her busy career will bring her
back to California but for now, she is looking forward to enjoying the summer
season. She shared what she’s most looking forward to wearing in the warm
weather saying, “I recently bought my first pair of oversized jeans and now I
can’t stop wearing them I’ve never worn those before. Also black slides. I
never used to be a fan I’m a heels girl.”

Check Out My Coverage of the WishMan Movie Premier at the Historic Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Blvd!
I attended the red carpet premier of the Wishman movie which is a film based on the true story of Make A Wish foundation founder Frank Shankwitz and his journey to founding the world renowned charity. It was held at the historic Egyptian theater on Hollywood Boulevard which was such a fun venue! This theater has been around since the 1920s and was one of the first major theaters in Hollywood. It is decorated in an Egyptian theme all throughout representing the era of exploration from the 20s and harkening back to the days of the silver screen.
I went with a retro look for the event and had so much fun styling my outfit and glam makeup look!

Golden Globes Style: How to Wear Winter White Like Amy Adams
Awards Season in Hollywood is just getting started and with all the celebs looking for ways to stand out on the red carpet with their style, the classic question of wearing white after labor day is bound to come up. In recent years this fashion rule has gone somewhat by the wayside however it still takes consideration and planning to pull off a head to toe white look in the winter. Luckily in LA it's especially trendy since our weather is usually still pretty warm this time of year. I attended the Gold Meets Golden pre-party today and talked with actress Amy Adams about her style. She was wearing an all white dress with a vintage inspired button down front and a matching white purse.
She accessorized with some chic statement earrings and showed them off with a cute slicked back ponytail for her hairstyle. She kept the look simple and minimalist and pulled off the monochrome outfit perfectly.
Wearing a monochrome outfit is a great way to showcase accessories like jewelry because it will really make things pop! Her style is generally simple but elegant and I can't wait to see what she wears to the awards tomorrow night!
Matt Bomer Talks Style at The Official Golden Globes Pre-Party on Sunset Blvd
You can check out my interview on the gold carpet in the video below!
Bomer's style is always very put together and classy but he isn't afraid to take risks with the details either. In this blue Officine Generale suit he worked in a sporty theme to his look to go with the event's theme of honoring Olympic athletes while still staying classy for the carpet. The white stitching all along the edges of the suit and his white sneakers really pull the whole look together for a clean cut sporty vibe.
I think this look is definitely something anyone could wear and was the perfect choice for this event! The Gold Meets Golden pre-party happens every year in Hollywood bringing actors and athletes together to raise awareness for sports related causes. The event was hosted by Nicole Kidman and there were tons of celebs and gold medal athletes in attendance! Go check out my interviews with stars like Octavia Spencer, athlete Michelle Kwan and more in Hollywood Glam magazine!http://www.hollywoodglammagazine.com/2019/01/06/celebs-share-their-awards-night-style-and-more-at-the-gold-meets-golden-pre-golden-globes-party/
