It was my lucky day and I found two-hour parking right on Pier Street. As I walked the short block down the hill, I felt the cool sea breeze and smelled the delicious aroma of fried food. Although the forecast had predicted cooler weather, even the sun came out for Fiesta Hermosa. Visitors remarked how sunny it was and many opted for a rainbow shave ice as a snack.
The vendor tents lined Hermosa Avenue with a wide range of products to peruse. I meandered among the crowd checking out each booth. I was intrigued by the many home decorating items offered. One vendor sold bright hand-dyed beach sheets which can also be used as furniture or patio table covers. Another sold hand sewn exquisite table runners.
