This year, Stagecoach music festival sold out in record time due to the lineup of Country Music superstars set to headline the event. California's country music festival is going big this year and there will be many awesome stage moments you won't want to miss with this set of performers.

The event will surely draw a huge crowd of country music lovers who are dying to see their favorite new artists as well as classic favorites such as Miranda Lambert at the beloved festival. Besides headliner Morgan Wallen who has drawn the most attention to the festival lineup, there are several other names on the country music scene to take note of this year. Elle King, songwriter turned singer girl group Maddie and Tae, and Hailey Whitters are all performances I am looking forward to in addition to the headliners this year. 

The festival will also feature a late night show with Nickelback, Diplo, and Wiz Khalifa giving festival goers a variety of performances to choose from this year. Stay tuned for more coverage as the festival gets closer! 

Palomino Fest Premiers in LA with Headliner Kacey Musgraves

The brand new Palomino Festival is coming to LA for the first time this year on July 9th with an amazing lineup of new and established country artists. Fans of country music festivals like Stagecoach will love this brand new event held in Pasadena. The festival will feature artists Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Nikki Lane and more! The event will bring a little bit of Stagecoach country style to LA with the Nikki Lane marketplace as well as drinks, fun, and more! The new event is the latest addition to the GoldenVoice festival roster and will be a great way to celebrate summer.

Stagecoach Day 3 Recap

On day 3 the festival came to a close with a rockstar lineup of more fan favorites as well as more fun surprises throughout the day such as Luke Combs special appearance at the Stagecoach Smokehouse, the SHE IN pop up karaoke bar, and more! 

Despite rising temperatures on Sunday energy was still running high in anticipation of Luke Combs closing night performance. Throughout the weekend the general consensus among artists was the feeling of gratitude and excitement over the return of live music. For many who had originally been scheduled to perform at Stagecoach 2020 and 2021, this was the end of a long road and the beginning of a new chapter.

Jesse Labelle who has been "On the Road to Stagecoach" for a few weeks now spoke to me before his show opening up the festival on Sunday. He described his journey doing several events as he traveled across the country for his first ever Stagecoach performance. He also talked about how the pandemic has inspired his music and more! Check out our interview below for more. 

Lainey Wilson took the stage next giving a rockin "Bell Bottom Country" performance singing her radio hit "Things a Man Oughta Know" to fans who showed up in big numbers for her show. Check out my interview with the singer to find out what "bell bottom country" means and see her wild vintage inspired outfit for the festival. 

Callista Clark another fan of vintage fashion also performed at the festival on the SiriusXM spotlight stage. She took me behind the scenes of her festival outfit and personal style in our exclusive interview after her show. Watch more here! 

 

 Lindsay Ell, who gave the first performance of the night on the main stage, debuted her new song “Right on Time”. Inspired by her experiences on the road and the unexpected delays caused by the pandemic, the song is a reminder that anyone can be the author of their own story and decide the timing of their own life. The singer gave a fun filled performance and keeping with the theme of the weekend brought a special guest of her own out. Cheat Codes came out to sing with her and doused the crowd with supersoakers! Finally, Luke Combs shut down the show with a set of back-to-back hits including crowd favorite “Beer Never Broke My Heart”. While it was the end of Stagecoach 2022 it was the beginning of the return of festival season. Fans were more than ready for this long-anticipated return of California’s largest country music festival and stayed until the last minutes of the show soaking it all in.

Stagecoach Day 1 Recap

Stagecoach music festival returned in style after a 3-year break due to Covid. This year the festival kicked off with a lineup of up and coming country stars as well as major headliners that drew a huge crowd. The festival also included several fun brand activations for guests and unique experiences for country fans such as the Bud Light Seltzer sessions, Guy Fieri's Stagecoach smokehouse demos with artists, Angry Orchard's clubhouse with $1 samples, and the Malibu dreamhouse filled with tropical drinks to beat the desert heat.  In between sets, festival-goers enjoyed the return of many Stagecoach traditions such as gathering collectible bandanas and posters from the Toyota Music Den which has been a festival staple since the very first Stagecoach in 2007. Collectors display posters from each year in the RV campground and even after the hiatus fans continued the tradition. 

First, the day kicked off with new artist Ryan Griffin on the SiriusXM spotlight stage who brought his Florida inspired coastal country jams to the stage as guests got into the party mood. Following Griffin, the festival fans who arrived early in the day were treated to a fun and inspiring performance by Walker County a sister duo from Nashville that has been making their name in country with their strong vocals and trendy music. I got to get a behind the scenes peek at the Walker County performance including their sparkly glam show looks. Check out the interview here. 

 

 Maren Morris who opened for Thomas Rhett, also made an unexpected appearance when she came out early to sing a duet with husband Ryan Hurd during his set. The adorable pair gave a sweet performance that the crowd loved. Finally the crowd went wild for headliner Thomas Rhett who gave the audience a surprise when Ashton Kutcher came onstage to sing 90s country classic “Friends in Low Places”. 

As the festival lights came on and the sun set over the iconic ferris wheel it was clear Stagecoach weekend was back in full swing! 

Justin Bieber Performs at the New Sofi Stadium in LA

This summer I attended the One Day LA "Freedom Experience" concert held at the brand new Sofi Stadium in LA. Headliners included Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith, Chance the Rapper, Tori Kelly and more. I covered the concert put on by the charity organization One Day LA which held the concert in celebration of a successful campaign around the city of Los Angeles. They had been working on initiatives such as delivering food, providing assistance to the homeless, and much more to help LA recover from the economic devastation of Covid-19. Volunteers who had participated in one of the campaigns were invited to the concert for free in honor of all their hard work. I covered the event from the media section and had a great time experiencing the brand new SoFi stadium. There were several other notable guests in attendance including the mayor of Inglewood and the co-founder of the OneDay LA movement. 

The event started off with a performance by Jaden Smith who warmed up the crowd with several new songs as well as his hit single "ICON". 

He told the crowd, "I seriously connect with what OneDay LA is doing and its an honor for me to be on this stage performing for all of you!" 

Chance the Rapper also gave an inspiring performance and shared some of his personal background with the crowd. He celebrated the great volunteer work accomplished through the OneDay LA movement. 

Tori Kelly came out next and performed several of her popular songs and got the crowd singing along. In between songs she said, "The work that you guys are doing is so inspiring. Thank you to OneDay LA!" 

Finally, it was time for the performance that everyone had been waiting for. Justin Bieber took the stage with several brand new songs. He gave a heartfelt performance to the crowd and shared about his personal faith journey with the audience. He told the crowd, "The pandemic has caused all if us to struggle and many of us have struggled with mental health issues. I know I have. I'm here to say you are loved and you don't have to be ashamed." This was a timely message that really resonated with the crowd as well as all of the listeners streaming the concert. One of the biggest silent effects of Covid-19 has been the epidemic of mental health issues that young people have faced while being away from their peers for so long. 

The night ended with some of Justin Bieber's classic songs like HOLY and the crowd went wild. It was a great way to celebrate the charity work that OneDay LA accomplished. 

Musicians Celebrate Memorial Day and Getting Back Onstage with a Night of Southern Rock Festival

 

On Saturday night at the Long Beach Cultural Center fans and celebs came out to raise awareness for veterans causes this memorial day weekend. The rock band Six Gun Sal headlined the Southern Rock Festival giving their first official live performance since the start of the pandemic. It was a very special night and everyone had a great time. Red carpet attendees included pro wrestlers, musicians, and Navy SEAL veterans. I went backstage to the pre-party where there was delicious Mexican food and patriotic drinks served. Guests enjoyed the "Brave Soldier" cocktail featuring the Positive Beverage Tropical Berry flavor and Doublecross vodka as well as catering by Mini Birrieria. There was also wine provided by Urban Press Wineries and beverages from Hint water. It was a great selection! 

 

 The concert opened with Scott Gronsky Band followed by Kimberly Dawn, a rising country singer who gave a great performance singing some of her original hits as well as classic country favorites. Then the night got going with the headliner Six Gun Sal. The crowd was hyped to see the band perform again after so long. The lead singer .. stopped mid show to take a moment of silence to honor veterans and fallen soldiers for memorial day. He also invited the veterans in the audience up on stage and shook each of their hands. It was a great way to celebrate the holiday and remember what the long weekend is all about. Navy SEAL vet Johnny Walker also got up on stage to give a speech about memorial day and encouraged all Americans to come together for the holiday. 

After the break the concert got back into full swing and the night finished out strong with songs like "red blooded American" and other Six Gun Sal classics. Everyone enjoyed getting back out in person and the event was a a success. It was an exciting start to the summer! 

Festival Update: Temecula Road Releases New Music and Plans Return to Stagecoach

Rising country music band Temecula Road has been busy working on their latest music since I last interviewed them at Stagecoach 2018 but they are back in a big way! The band has released 3 new songs this year and just debuted "Maybe Not" while their other two tracks have been rising to the top of the charts on Radio Disney Country. I am so excited to hear their latest music written by Dawson Anderson and produced by industry expert Andrew DeRoberts who's also worked with the Eli Young Band, Kip Moore and others. 

The band is so excited to release "Maybe Not" and shared their take on the newest hit.
“This song was actually written as a ballad, but after playing it on the road for over a year it took on a new life as a fun, flirty more up-tempo love song,” says Emma Salute. “If you had to describe it using only one emoji, it’d definitely be the winky face ,” says Maddie Salute. “It’s been one of our favorites for a long time and were really excited to share it with the world! It’s a new side of Temecula Road you haven’t heard yet,” says Dawson Anderson.

The band will be returning to the Stagecoach festival where they made a huge hit two years ago at California's largest country music festival. Stagecoach is a special venue for the band since they are native to the west coast. I can't wait to see the band's new music at the festival and catch up with them to hear about what they've been up to! 

Meet Madeline Rosene: LA Singer/songwriter and All Around Cool Girl

Madeline Rosene is a rising indie pop singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles who recently performed at the hotel cafe off Sunset boulevard. Read my article on her breakout performance here! Indie Pop Sensation Madeline Rosene Performs at the Hotel Cafe

On a typical weekend night on Sunset Blvd there are tons of shows and performances to explore along the famous street. However, the Hotel Cafe is the perfect place to stop in if you're looking for an intimate live music experience. On Sunday night, I headed over to the small venue that's reminiscent of a speakeasy bar with it's art deco flooring and simple layout. I was headed out to see up and coming indie artist Madeline Rosene perform her latest hit "Numb" with her band.

Rosene's music is fun spunky and totally original but she is best known for her honest and quirky lyrics. The style is reminiscent of Taylor Swift's Red album but, mixed with her cool and electric indie sounds makes her music a fun and easy listen. Her songs range from topics about growing up, friendships, relationships, and the most common millennial struggle--communicating with technology. The Ohio native has really tapped into the everyday struggles of 21st century life making her music funny and relate-able for millennial fans. 

Her style matches her honest and at times sarcastic music and she was sporting a stylish oversized white jacket with matching white tennis shoes for the concert. The crowd definitely enjoyed the show and laughed at the witty remarks in her songs. 

Madeline is not only a musician but also loves fashion and has her own blog and Instagram platform where she shares her style inspirations. She has mastered a California cool vibe meets LA transplant on her feed and I can't wait to see what kinds of styles she will come up with at her next show! The Madeline Rosene brand is definitely one to watch because, this girl is on top of all the current trends and translates them into engaging and elegant content and music to represent millennial culture.

Have all your friends jealous this summer with a hot new playlist for road trips, pool parties, and much more that will make you look like the ultimate trendsetter. Wargirl, the up and coming indie rock band gave me an exclusive interview before their San Diego show at the Soda Bar lounge where they shared the inspiration behind their catchy new album.

The band's long beach inspired afro punk sound is the perfect music to chill out with your friends to this summer. The band was founded by Matt Wignall who worked with the indie success Cold War Kids and was inspired to create the band to share the mish mash of sounds from his hometown in Long Beach, CA. You won't want to miss out on reading this interview with this group who are poised to break into the indie scene in a big way this year!

Question: How would you describe your sound?

Answer: It honestly depends on who you ask. Every single band member is going to answer that question in a different way which is what makes the band special. Everyone comes from such a different background and it's such an eclectic mix. We've got some Afrobeat, indie, rock and roll background, jazz, acapella you name it its in there and that kind of makes up a comprising Long Beach town.


Question: How would you describe your style? Is it more rock and roll or Boho?

Answer: Me, I just wanna be Keith Richards when I grow up. It's really up to the individual. I would say there's a lot of punk, in a weird way in a sense that if you look at Blondie, the talking heads, B52, bands that were considered in the punk scene but not necessarily the largely popularized versions of punk, It's more like that because that's what the late 70s early 80s punk scene was about just individualism and self expression.

Question: What are you playing tonight for this San Diego audience?

Answer: We have a new EP out and an album so there's 6 songs on our EP and 10 songs on our album. We've got about 16 songs that we can choose from right now. We're also going to be doing some Eagles covers. Freebird is on the set list!

Question: Who are your musical inspirations? 

Answer: The first sort of inception point for the band was that I produce records I have my own studio and I was like I want to make some music with my friends I haven't done that in awhile. So, I've always really liked the later Clash material like London Calling and Sandinistas especially Sandinistas was so interesting because again, here's something that's considered punk but they had some hip hop,  Afrobeat and the base player was into Reggae and it was like they kind of put all that together and it evolved into a much more mature band.
So hearing that stuff I was like gosh like Sandinista's could come out tomorrow and it would still sound current. I really just wanna make something like that. There was a festival recently with a bunch of like the old Orange County angsty bands playing and they're all sort of old and grey haired flipping the crowd off with their baseball hats on and it was kind of cool and relevant when you're that age, but it doesn't age well at all. And all of us in the band love music and we're kind of addicted to it. And if you found us all of us in 20 or 30 years I think we'd all still be doing music in some way or another. And I just really wanted to make some kind of music that if I'm 60 years old and playing that music that I won't look like an idiot doing it. So that's what inspired my idea for the band.

Question: Where do you find inspiration for your songs?

Answer: I think we're largely inspired by our environment in Long Beach. And what we're surrounded by culturally and artistically. We surround our self with the local flora and fauna to go out and write.
Our band does have an undertone of Long Beach because that's where we're all from. Long Beach is just this melting pot for diversity and character. In terms of writing its kind of nice to step away and be in a place where we're not in the thick of our everyday lives.
Inspiration for me is not just like where I live but like who I'm around the conversations I'm having what's happening socially. What I'm experiencing personally as a black woman in America which is really prominent right now for me. As the front woman of this band I really want to speak to that I think it's super important. But I also want to keep this music and the lyrics universal for people to take it in their own interpretation I think that like Matt was saying I want this music to be timeless and I want it to be accessible for everyone because that's what lasts. Things that you can latch onto.
We're all so diverse in the band which is like a reflection of long beach. So our influence is varied which is cool we're like a melting pot within a melting pot. We're like fondue!

Question: You've released your EP and you've been touring for about a year and a half, what's next for you guys?

Answer: We're a little bit like a freight train we never really stop. Once we came back from the last tour we started working on some demos. We wanna keep the momentum going. We recorded the album last year and we released it in both Europe and North America so now it's time to really stream our focus into what's coming next in the sophomore album. But, in the meantime we're just enjoying touring and finding some awesome venues to play at. We're heading to a festival in the UK this weekend. We're doing a lot of travel.

The Real Story Behind Ariana Grande's 7 Rings: Victoria Monet Shares The Crazy Story Behind the Hit Single's Title

"We had Ariana Grande looking at us like yo, bro, I need a big record like right now."

If you are an Ari fan as much as I am then you have probably listened to "7 Rings" about a thousand times by this point. The song is all about celebrating female friendship and empowerment and the title 7 rings obviously refers to Ariana's lyric, "Wearing a ring, but ain't gon' be no "Mrs." Bought matching diamonds for six of my bitches". 

The smash hit broke several pop records including making it to Billboard's Hot 100 top 3 for 7 weeks. The song is so popular because the message of girl power resonates with so many fans. At this year's ASCAP I Create Music Expo the team behind Ariana's majorly successful album Sweetner and the 3 record breaking singles she released in 2018 including Thank U Next, 7 Rings, and Break Up With Your Boyfriend I'm Bored attended the Pop Panel to discuss the process of creating these amazing songs with the artist. I got the inside scoop on the inspiration and song writing process behind all of these songs from Victoria Monet who is a long time friend and co-worker of Ariana. She explained what it was like creating these anthems and how they worked to express the message that Ariana wanted to convey of celebrating female success unapologetically. 
She said, "It's about being observant and empathetic enough to recognize the feelings of an artist that the world needs to hear." 
Victoria told the story of how the song title came about as they were working in the New York studio one day and once you hear this crazy tale it will only make the song that much better! 

According to producer Tommy who was also on the panel, Ariana had wanted to use the theme of her favorite song from the Sound of Music movie "Some of my favorite things" to create a song about her favorite things to do with her girlfriends. She wanted to have a retro vibe in the intro of the song and had told them, "Lets do something like the sound of music, but not." 
So they were already working with that theme when Ariana showed up at the studio with Tiffany bags and started handing them out to her girlfriends. According to Victoria Grande had been out shopping that morning and had seen some rings in the Tiffany store that she liked. She apparently misjudged the price tag after not seeing a comma on it since she was "a little tipsy" according to the team and asked to get 7 rings for herself and her best friends. She wanted to show appreciation for her girlfriends after going through the hard times she had during her break up with her boyfriend the previous year. Once she got to the register and found out how much they really were she decided to buy them anyways and came straight to the studio where Victoria helped her create the "7 rings" song that day. 

So the song is truly based on a real life experience and I still can't get over it! 

Monet also went on to share the process behind Thank U Next, the other record breaking hit that Ariana released in 2018. According to Victoria, Ariana came to her saying she wanted to write a song about her exes and they started working to create the single. 
"It came together in about two weeks." said Monet.
Once it was written Ariana didn't release it right away becasue she was hesitant about naming her exes by name in the song but she ultimately decided to do it and called Victoria and the team up one morning aroudn 8 o'clock saying. today is the day! This was surprising because in pop there's usually a roll out and some marketing with a song but Victoria said that Ariana, "dropped it like a rapper" and even though people were skeptical of the song being successful it ended up breaking records. 
When asked what made the song so successful Victoria said, "We were writing about what was actually going on, we were literally just narrating what was really going on to a beautiful melody with a fire beat." 
When asked what it felt like to affect pop culture she said,"I think it's incredible. It was really cool to be in a session where we could talk about some real things that people wanted to hear that only we could say." 


She continued saying, "The whole process was just us with our friends stripping down our feelings." 
Victoria compared working with Ariana to a box of crayons saying, "When you go to a restaurant and they give you 3 crayons to color with, Ariana is like having a a whole coloring box. She's just so talented...she makes it very easy she writes and produces." 

The panel ended with some amazing advice from the team telling future creators to never give up on their passion and it was definitely an inspiring session. I loved hearing the process behind creating these hits that truly have affected pop culture in such a big way. I can't wait to see what's next from this group!

Saturday April 6th I headed down to Huntington State Beach for the ultimate spring break experience to see headliners including Jake Owen and Tim McGraw perform right on the sand! It was a great start to festival season and a jam packed day full of seaside fun and my favorite country stars. The festival kicked off with a performance from talented up and coming star Brennely Brown who gave me an exclusive interview from inside her trailer after getting offstage. Check out the video below to learn all about her favorite country idols and her style inspiration plus much more!

After chatting with Brennley backstage I headed back to the festival to check out all the fun things they had to do. There were free popsicles courtesy of Otter Pops who set up a little beach shack at the festival as well as carnival rides and even line dancing lessons!

I grabbed lunch at one of the amazing BBQ stands they had available and headed over to the stage to enjoy acts from Mason Ramsay (the Yodel kid), Dylan Scott, Chase Rice, Jake Owen, and Tim McGraw. With that stellar line up the night could only get better. Chase Rice brought two fans up on stage to sing with him and Jake Owen brought his signature vacation vibes to the beach performing his hit song Beachin' which was the perfect choice for the occasion. The whole crowd sang along as the sun set over the ocean. Then Tim McGraw closed out the night with an unforgettable performance singing his classics like "Something Like That" as well as some of his newest music and even gave the audience a special treat performing Elton John's classic "Tiny Dancer". It was definitely a beach day for the books!

Macy Grey Performs at the Chef Dance Pre-Oscars Party

On Friday night February 22nd I got started celebrating the Oscars early this year at the ChefDance Pre-Oscars party held at a beautiful private mansion in the Hollywood Hills. My best blogger gal Shauna of Skin by Shauna attended the event with me and we had a great time enjoying the party and food and of course the fashions!

The party kicked off with some amazing appetizers including mini sliders, shrimp skewers, crab cakes and much more! We enjoyed mingling and trying out all the delicious snacks out on the patio of the mansion. It was decorated with lights and music and the courtyard was the perfect place to start the intimate get together.

We explored the house finding some great photo ops for our OOTN pics and had fun with the selfie stations they had set up at the party! Check out all the fun below!

Then we enjoyed the main course which was served buffet style in the dining room. The food was amazing and all the guests gave rave reviews but on a side note, look at this kitchen you guys!

Wow talk about goals. Some of my favorite dishes were the pasta, wild rice, and grilled chicken and steak. I enjoyed watching all the guests arrive dressed up in the latest fashions for the occasion. Slip dresses and nude heels were definitely trending at this event.

After hanging out and exploring the house and beautiful patio we were invited down to the poolhouse for an intimate performance by Grammy winner Macy Grey. The host told us that he had this space designed specifically for entertaining and we were the first to christen the area with this party! It was designed like a jazz club with small tables, mood lighting, and a stage at the front. Macy grey gave an amazing performance and even commented on the space saying, "Everybody, he took this room and made it into a club for us. That's how you know you have too much money that's when you know you're doing alright!" Everyone laughed.

Your February Playlist is Here: Up and Coming Country Star Tiffany Woys Releases Her First EP All About Finding Love

Tis the season of love! With Valentines day 2019 just behind us up and coming star Tiffany Woys is releasing her first EP titled all about the journey to finding true love. The album features 5 songs with her signature sweet and vibrant voice telling the story of how she came to find true love herself. According to Tiffany if you listen to the songs in order it should all make sense. She compared her view on love to one of her favorite shows, Sex and the City, and specifically Charlotte's character saying, "I'm a big hopeless romantic...Every time I've gotten my heart broken I've just gotten back up and believed that that person is out there.I just don't ever stop trying to find it. I don't  get discouraged in that sense. These 4 songs kind of represent a little bit of a journey of the ups and downs to finding that."

California native Woys made a stop back in her home state this week for a special performance of her trending song Priceless at the Radio Disney studios. The talented singer invited me to an interview on Tuesday night where we talked about her new music, style, and more! Woys unique country pop sound is appealing to any country music lover but the pop influence makes it fun for all fans! The young singer moved to Nashville one year ago from California to pursue her country music career full time.
When I asked if her California roots influenced her music at all, she said, "Absolutely, I would not be honest if I didn't say that I'm country pop that's what I am. I mean my two biggest favorite artists are Micheal Jackson and Celine Dion how can they not have some kind of a pop influence. I wouldn't say that there's a lot of really typical traditional country. I'm definitely more on the modern side. But that's just kind of what I gravitated towards and before I was an artist I started as listener so for me I wanted to  put out something that I felt like if I were the listener would I like it. And that's kind of the process of what I went through making my music."
Tiffany elaborated on what brought her to be a country music listener in the first place telling me, "The storytelling in the writing, the honesty and how I felt like the audience related so much more to country artists because it felt like they were hearing a story from their friend or their ex boyfriend or their mom you know it was like something where they could initially grab on to those lyrics and say yeah I know someone who's been through that or I've been through that and that right there was why I wanted to do country. And to take it a step further as much as I love to get dressed up and do fun things I kinda wanted to take a stage without doing 6 costume changes or dance routines. I just wanted to hold a microphone and sing and that's the show."
She said, "For country music what inspired me vocally and who I looked up to was Leann Rhymes and that was when I think I was about 5 and she was singing the national anthem and it wasn't too long after star search. It was like How do I live was coming out and that's kind of how I discovered country music which was through Leann Rhymes and then I just started to find other people because my parents weren't really big country listeners. It was like Rod Stewart, Micheal Bolton, Celine Dion it was those kinds of singers so I just ended up kind of veering off on my own and listening to like Martina McBRide, Faith Hill, and then I noticed that those were really like vocalists and stylists and that's what made me focus on the path that I'm going on right now where I'm focusing on being a vocalist."

On the subject of her childhood musical influences she talked about what artists inspired her most growing up and to this day saying, "The people who inspire me as an artist, my number one is Celine Dion always has been since I was 5. That's what my mom would play all the time was Celine Dion and that is not a bad artist to look up to. Really big shoes to fill if you're trying to fill that vocally."

Tiffany is a big believer in working hard to achieve your dreams and shared, "I found that listening to her and her being kind of my inspiration made me work harder and strive to always be better. Because I started studying what she does and how much she works to be as amazing as she is like still to this day she doesn't just settle and sit back and she practices 4 days a week still and does all this stuff so I'm like yeah that's what I look up to."

Speaking of hard work, Tiffany told me that this album has been 6 years in the making saying, "My mom would say I'm a very stubborn and impatient girl, but when it comes to music I'm not I'm really patient but I'm very excited just to get it heard." She is looking forward to sharing all her hard work with her fans and is hoping to get back to live performances now that her album is coming out.

She elaborated on her last 6 years in the music industry saying, "So kind of how I got into this entire journey is I love entertaining I love being on stage I love performing so I put a band together and toured the west coast and that was a ton of fun and then when I moved to Nashville it was obviously about making the music and the business."

We also talked about her style and what she hoped to say with her look. She described her personal style saying, "I'm a leather and denim girl whether that means a leather jacket with jeans or a denim dress with a leather jacket or leather pants and that's kind of my everyday go to that's kind of my look."
When I asked her if she preferred style over comfort she said, "I think I could be both but I would probably say style over comfort. Except when it comes to heels. I wanna be better at them. I watched Carry Underwood work a stage in them and I was like I would've died...I would love to wear some heels on stage every once in awhile because I'm not a cowgirl boots kind of girl that's not my style like I have them but I don't wear them in my day to day or on stage but yeah I'm all about style over comfort other than heels. I'll put on converse."
She shared her tips for dressing with confidence on stage or off saying, "Be yourself and that means even in your style. The same way that the song [Priceless] is about not settling that's how I feel about style. You know that's what that song is, just kind of like being true to yourself and if someone doesn't like it then keep it movin' and that's kind of how I feel about style. If someone doesn't like what you're wearing or how you dress don't settle. And that goes for a guy too. This song, I wouldn't just want it to be for girls I mean yes it's coming from a girls perspective but guys shouldn't settle either. Guys should feel the same way because you know I've seen a girl try and tell a guy how to dress before too."

Then she added laughing, "I mean sometimes there's good tips okay" Her songs and outfits definitely reveal her confident and bubbly personality.

Speaking of her songs, each one has a very powerful message and Tiffany hopes to use her music to empower young women and inspire her fans to follow their dreams.
She said, "To me its always about keep dreaming. People say get a 9-5 that's a one in a million chance and that's fine that's still respectable but this is my passion this is what I love..For me its just always follow your passion."
As for some of her future goals that she's still working towards Tiffany has a few things she's looking forward to. She said, "I want to be someone's first concert that they never forget. that was my childhood dream."
In 2019, she is really excited to start doing more performances. She said, "I'm just itching to get back up on stage so that's what I really wanna do in 2019 is perform."
Her inspiring commitment to her career is contagious and she offered some great words of motivation for anyone looking to pursue a career in the arts saying, "Don't let anyone ever tell you your dream is too big because crazier things have happened. Can you imagine telling the wright brothers that their dream was too big and they were never gonna get a hunk of metal in the sky and then we wouldn't be able to travel from state to state. So my thing is, is just dream big and always keep going for it. Chase it."

Tiffany has had experience with having to chase after her dream as her parents initially wanted her to pursue a career in law and throughout college she had to continue pursuing music part time before she finally switched to making it a full time career. Based on her experience she offered some words of wisdom to anyone looking to make the jump saying, "It's definitely not easy...its hard for both men and women to be an artist. I don't think anybody just walks through the door and its like well that was easy record dear where do I sign? I don't think its like that I think you have to really believe in yourself. And then a lot of the time there's gotta be some people out there that believe in you too. It takes a village sometimes and I don't think people necessarily realize that. I think its hard because you see so many people doing it on their own like I'm doing it on my own but I'm not really doing it on my own. I have a lot of people helping me that believe in me. But first and foremost you gotta believe in yourself because without that well, I don't know. You just have to believe in yourself."

Clare Dunn Performs at the Hollywood Christmas Parade

This year country singer Clare Dunn headlined the Hollywood Christmas parade on the walk of fame on Sunday November 25th. She performed several Christmas classics wearing a showstopping winter themed look with over the knee boots and a long red velvet jacket. She also gave the audience a special treat and premiered her new single "Tuxedo" for everyone. The country star gave a high energy performance with the lights of the TCL Chinese Theater in the background and giant floating Christmas decorations all around. Other musical performances included American Idol star Kimberly Caldwell who also performed some beautiful Christmas classics.

Afterwards she rode on a float in the parade with her family! Check out my coverage of the parade in Hollywood Glam magazine and watch my exclusive interview with none other than Santa Claus below!

For the red carpet I went with a Holiday themed look with some Hollywood flare and wore this cute red velvet dress (matching Clare Dunn in the red velvet!) and these Kollectin pearls. I love this dress because it is warm but still comfy and has kind of a gypsy vibe to it with the flared sleeves which ended up being perfect for this event!
