I spent a few days in Vegas this holiday season and had so much fun doing some photo shoots for my blog I wanted to share some of my favorite photo ops guaranteed to get you tons of likes on the gram! Below you'll find some of my favorite places to snap a great OOTN pic and catch all the Vegas lightsss in the background! Happy Instagramming!
1.The chandelier bar at the Cosmopolitan Hotel
This is just an all around cool spot to see in Vegas and provides a great backdrop for photos if you head to the third floor of the Cosmo lobby. Another good spot is the staircase inside the bar but it can often be crowded so the mezzanine level still gives you great views of the crystals and has brighter lighting as well.
Best time for photos: Anytime until late evening when the strip starts filling up with all the Vegas vacationers heading out to party.
2. The Paris Pool
The Paris Pool is a great place to relax and enjoy that Vegas getaway, but even if you're not staying at the hotel you can still get some great views of the Eiffel tower by the pool's entrance. If you are lucky enough to stay at the resort I recommend getting a couple pics under the Eiffel tower leg that stretches over the pool which can make for some really cool and interesting shots.Best time for photos: If you are just going to the pool entrance early afternoon to late afternoon is best so the pool area won't be too crowded. If you are going into the pool area it's really hit or miss but generally the earlier the better.
3. The fountains in the Paris Casino
There are several beautiful fountains on the Paris Casino floor. If you walk through the hallway lined with shops that connects the Paris to the Bally's hotel you will find a great fountain under a beautiful intricately designed ceiling. If you continue into the casino there is another fountain near the Eiffel tower leg right across from Gordon Ramsay's steak restaurant. This one makes for a great photo op because it has a back so you won't get any people in the background of your photo.
4.The Breezeway at the entrance to the Bellagio Hotel
Tourists are always looking to get that classic Vegas glamour shot with the fountains of the Bellagio going off in the background. And it is a pretty amazing view but, most people try to take the picture from one of the alcoves on the strip which are always crowded and don't leave very much space to zoom out. My favorite hidden spot for fountain photos is the breezeway along the side of the Bellagio which you can access after walking out the front of the hotel lobby. The beautiful archways give a perfect view of the fountains and the breezeway is almost always less crowded than the strip.
5.The Shops at the Bellagio
The Bellagio is an all around picturesque hotel and totally worth exploring because it seems like every corner has something else beautiful to look at. The shops in the Bellagio have some great places for photo ops like the grand balconies that look out over the fountains in the front of the hotel. You can't actually go out on the balconies but you can still get some great views through the windows plus it's so fun to check out all the designer stores and see the latest fashions here!
6.The Eiffel Tower Restaurant in the Paris hotel
The restuarant in the Eiffel tower at the Paris hotel is a must see spot in Vegas. Fun fact, it is actually inspired by the real restaurant on the third floor of the Eiffel Tower in Paris called Jules Verne and has similar architecture and style. This is a great spot to enjoy some delicious food in Vegas as well as take some amazing pictures with 360 degree views of the strip. Bonus: for foodies the food in this place is pretty insta-worthy in itself!
7. The High Roller
This is something you should do in Vegas anyways because it is honestly pretty cool! The high roller is the Las Vegas observation wheel and stands at 550 feet tall! It is a one of a kind experience viewing the Vegas skyline from the High Roller and a super fun way to top off your trip! There are obviously great views but it can sometimes be hard to get the right photo through the glass. Luckily you'll get several chances as it's a pretty long ride.
Best time for photos: Sunset is the perfect time to catch the glittering lights while still being able to see the landscape. Crowds aren't really an issue since it just depends on how many people get put in your pod!8. The Shops at the Wynn
The Wynn is another one of my favorite hotels in Vegas because everything is decked out to the max all the time here! It's such a fun place to explore. I recommend starting with the shops which wind along with beautiful displays from all the biggest brands like Dior, Fendi, and more and then end in the hotel lobby with a beautiful tree lined pathway INSIDE the hotel! The trees are lit up and the whole thing makes for an elegant photo! During the holidays they dress it up even more with a carousel made entirely of flowers and other sparkling displays hidden in the trees.
9. The Fountains at the Wynn
That's right there is still more to see at this hotel! If you continue outside to the front of the hotel you will come across a beautiful bridge with some waterfalls and fountains in the background. The whole atmosphere is very fancy because they play old fashioned big band music in the background. It is a great place to wander through and stop for some glamour shots!
10. The Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio
The Bellagio is back on this list again! The Botanical gardens are a really amazing thing to see in Vegas and definitely a really cool unique experience! They design a different theme every year and always have elaborate flower sculptures made from exotic and rare blooms. The Holidays is one of my favorite times to go because the hotel really goes all out for the season!
Best time for photos: In my experience this attraction is pretty much always crowded but early morning is probably your best bet.
